Care Instructions
The first wash should be done by hand in warm water to remove excess fibres.
Warm machine wash on wool cycle. Use wool wash detergent.
Do not bleach. Dry cleanable. Dry thoroughly before use or storage.
Do not tumble dry. Warm iron if required.

The portacot lambs wool underlay
"The portacot lambs wool underlay is a fantastic and safe way to make the hard as a rock portacot mattress soft and comfortable. It took me a while to find this underlay but I am so glad I did as I didn't want to get an extra mattress to put in the portacot due to the safety issues this holds but my baby just wouldn't sleep long in the portacot due to the hardness of the mattress - I had resorted to putting multiple fitted sheets on just to give it some softness. This underlay answered all of our problems and now my baby sleeps all night long in the portacot when we are away. Great investment."

"we had the cot one first and loved it so much we got one for DDs porta cot too. It is so worth the extra $$$ for a travel system if you use a porta cot for travelling or at families places. It adds extra comfort as well as keeping cooler in summer and amazingly warm in winter"

"We had bought the cot underlay and was using it in the portacot as well but then we found this one and bought it too for convenience because it was getting annoying taking the cot one on and off the cot mattress. This one fit perfectly and we can hair keep it with the portacot for easier packing."

"This BabyRest Lambswool Portacot Underlay was a fantastic purchase. We travel back and forth to Sydney and the coast regulary so we use the portacot a fair bit. Our son just didn't sleep well in the portacot as the mattress is hard and thin (you can feel the bars underneath). He would also sweat really bad on the standard mattress even with a cotton fitted sheet. When we came accross this underlay we purchased it righy away and never looked back. Our son sleeps so much better as the portacot is much softer and more comfortable he also doesn't sweat anymore. Great buy."

- Does adding one of these to the cot still allow for a safe sleep environment? I have your Duocore mattress but worried about reducing breath ability with one of these.
- Great question Abi, If you have the DuoCore Cot Mattress we wouldn't recommend adding an Underlay. The DuoCore is engineered to provide the right level of comfort whilst maintaining the right firmness for a safe sleep environment. You're right that by adding an underlay may compromise that. - Hello Alisha, Our underlays aren't certified organic and they have undergone treatment to make them safe & suitable for baby. However they are tested to ensure they are safe & non-toxic for children. Hope that helps
