BabyRest provides the following warranty for all genuine products purchased in Australia or New Zealand for domestic household use.

Unless stated explicitly, BabyRest products are designed for domestic household use only, and are not designed for use in commercial applications such as childcare centres, hospitals, shopping centres, etc.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

In addition to the rights that are available to consumers under the Australian Consumer Law, all BabyRest products come with a warranty which applies from the date of purchase, as outlined below:

Nursery Furniture (Cots & Chests and related accessories) 3 Years
Cot Mattresses 5 Years
Change Mat – Nova & Commercial models 3 Years
All other BabyRest products not listed above 1 Year


This warranty does not cover change of mind exchanges or returns. This warranty guarantees that your BabyRest product/s are free from manufacturing and/or material defects provided they are used in accordance with the intended use, during the period of the applicable warranty term.

The warranty is non-transferable and immediately expires if he BabyRest product is sold, given away, or obtained by anyone other than the original purchaser.

This warranty is limited to consumer buyers of the product for their personal use, personal family or household purposes. This warranty does not extend to unauthorised purchasers of the product intended for resale or for purchasers who intend to use this product for commercial use such as a childcare centre environment (unless stated explicitly for commercial use), and rental of the product to others.



The following are not covered by the warranty policy:

  1. Defects caused by ordinary wear and tear by everyday use, natural discolouration of materials over time or by not following the cleaning & maintenance instructions
  2. Damage caused by accidents, improper use, negligence, fire, contact with harmful liquids or another external cause
  3. Damage caused by another product, including accessories
  4. Damage by service or repair by an unofficial representative of BabyRest
  5. Theft
  6. Air transportation or freight damage

Safety is a vital part of the design and development of BabyRest product. All BabyRest products supplied in Australia and New Zealand comply with the mandatory requirements under Australian law.

Making a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, owners should contact us, or if purchased from a stockist you may also contact the store of purchase.

The following information must be supplied when making a warranty claim:

  1. A detailed description of the issue/fault, including any photos or videos to support the claim
  2. A clear, legible copy of the original proof of purchase, clearly showing the date and store of purchase

Upon assessment of the claim, we will at our absolute discretion repair or replace the affected products or components deemed faulty.

Any repairs or replacements do not extend the warranty past the applicable period.

This does not affect any rights that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law to have your product repaired.
